YCRG partners with selected Yale faculty to design, secure funding for, and execute single- and multicenter investigator-initiated studies on a range of topics in cardiovascular medicine.
The Yale Cardiovascular Research Group (YCRG) provides scientific leadership and clinical research expertise to advance cardiovascular medical technology and clinical practice. YCRG is led by Alexandra J. Lansky, MD, FESC, FACC, FAHA, FSCAI, professor of medicine in the Section of Cardiovascular Medicine at the Yale School of Medicine, a practicing cardiologist at Yale New Haven Hospital, and the director of the Yale Heart and Vascular Clinical Research Program, and Cody Pietras, a Clinical and Regulatory Affairs specialist with 18 years of experience in cardiovascular medical device development.
